To accommodate the risk management needs of the trading community, CME is preparing to enable trading during the current regular GLOBEX^® shut-down period of 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM CST on the date of any major development regarding the geo-political situation, should such an event take place prior to 9:30 PM CST.  Any such decision will be made by CME Operations staff, and will be transmitted to distributors via a ticker text message (Category Code “X”) or the Market Data EmLine (312-930-2026).  In addition, notification will be posted on www.cme.com. 

Any future emergency measures, as well as any decision to extend this provision beyond the first day of any major event, will be communicated to distributors via email, but if that is not possible, please look for ticker text messages and check the Market Data EmLine.
